Refurbishment & Full Electrical Rewire at Birchington Road, North Maida Vale, London, NW6 4LJ
Z-Electricians carried out a full rewire to a 2-bed property. We worked together on this project with 1st Choice Ltd, the client had bought a property which had not seen any refurbishment for a very long time. Z-Electricians decommissioned all the existing wiring and left a temporary supply in order for the building work to be carried out.
The client had already decided what we were contracted to carry out:
Mains supply and fused isolator for the flat
Customer Consumer Unit
Telephone line
Extraterrestrials in multiple locations
Cable TV
USB sockets in multiple location
Whilst decommissioning the existing electrical services we noticed that the existing electrical
installation was over 25 years old. We tested the property’s existing electrical supply, the test results showed that it did not meet British standards regulation:7671, Amendment 3. Our electricians installed a new steel wire armoured 25mm cable from the meter cupboard into consumer unit of the property.
Once the building work in property had progressed, our team was called back in to continue with the electrical second fix. The client requested a white finish on the light fittings, switches and sockets, some of which included USB charging ports.
When working with well organised builders, it is less likely that the work carried out would defer from the original plans. At the time of completion of the building work, our electricians carry out final electrical tests to provide the owner of the property with the appropriate NIC electrical certificates.
